Police investigating an incident in Oxford in which a cyclist was pushed from his bike by an occupant of a car have arrested four men from Wiltshire.

The incident happened at 7pm on Botley Road near McDonald’s last Tueday 9 April, says Thames Valley Police.

The 32-year-old male victim suffering grazing to his ankle and knee after one of the occupants of a dark-coloured BMW leant out and shoved him off his bike.

The vehicle did not stop and was driven off towards Cumnor Hill.

Following a witness appeal, three men from Swindon, aged 22, 23 and 24, have now been arrested, as has a 23-year-old from Royal Wootton Bassett.

They have been released on police bail until 9 May.
