You'll be able to buy Surface's new autumn/winter range of clothing directly from the manufacturer for the first time thanks to their new online shop.
Launched by Charge Bikes in 2009, Surface has become a very popular clothing brand and the range continues to expand. Much of the styling is born from their desire to produce clothing that looks like normal casual wear but that also performs on the bike, mixing style with technical fabrics.
Surface Clothing will still be available through their existing network of dealers with the website offering a more tailored and dedicated level of service. We had a look at some of the highlights from the new autumn/winter range recently, but here's a more detailed look at what's new.

The new Carry Pack offers a distinctive style for the urban commuter looking for a large capacity bag. It's made from 1000 denier heavy-duty Cordura fabric with reinforced material, a leather base and a huge 45 litre capacity. Inside is a secure and padded laptop pocket. Outside there's reflective details, a zippered top flap pocket and padded 10mm-thick shoulder straps.Yours for £69.99

Keep your ears toasty before or after a ride/race with the new Wool Hats. Made from a chunky woolly knit with a bobble and range of colours, they're priced at £14,99.

The new Parka is a cool looking jacket, with more zips and toggles than you can throw a stick at. Costing £109.99, it's made from a waterproof fabric and has a built-in hood and elbow pads. The material is breathable and water resistant and it's mesh-lined.

The Windjamma (£64.98) is available in three colours. It uses a lightweight windproof fabric and a mesh lining means you can wear it next to the skin without getting clammy. It should be ideal over a t-shirt or short sleeve jersey, then.

And, of course, Surface's distinctive stripey Crew socks are available in a variety of colours at £9.96.
