IG Markets' Team Sky: Pushing Hard video takes you behind the scenes with Cav and co (+ video)

Film from sponsor made at Mallorca training camp also features Wiggo and Froome plus new signings Eisel and Porte

With Bradley Wiggins currently looking in great shape and leading Paris-Nice, and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne winner Mark Cavendish lining up in Tirreno-Adriatico which starts tomorrow ahead of trying to fulfil his ambition of winning Milan-San Remo in the rainbow jersey a week on Saturday, Team Sky’s 2012 season is now in full swing.

Last year, the team put a difficult debut season behind it to score some notable successes including Chris Froome and Wiggins clinching podium spots as they finished  second and third, respectively, in the Vuelta, Edvald Boasson Hagen’s two stage wins in the Tour de France, Geraint Thomas winning the Bayern Rundfahrt and Wiggins’ overall victory in the Critérium du Dauphiné.

Team Sky also provided all but one of the seven riders that supported Mark Cavendish’s bid for world championship glory in Copenhagen, and the Manxman of course headed a strong list of new recruits for the 2012 season including his close friend and minder Bernie Eisel and the Australian Richie Porte.

That trio of close season signings are among the stars looking ahead to the 2012 season in Team Sky: Pushing Hard, the latest video produced by team sponsor IG Markets in its Insight into Cycling series, filmed at the ProTeam's recent training camp in Mallorca.

Also featured in the video, which is peppered throughout with graphics showing various stats, are Froome and Wiggins as well as race coach Rod Ellingworth, who in his role with British Cycling masterminded Cavendish’s win at Copenhagen.
