The chronic shortage of cycle parking stands in London is the subject of the London Cycling Campaign’s Cycle Parking 4 London campaign which wants to see 100,000 new cycle stands across Greater London
Using a spot of crowd-sourcing, the campaign is asking Londoners to click on a map on their website to indicate where they would like to see more cycle parking. The locations, say the campaign, could be near shops or cafés, residential blocks, workplaces or transport hubs.
The campaign is promising to make sure the suggested locations go to the key decision-makers at Transport for London and local councils.

This is a great and provocative article. I don’t agree with it 100% but it certainly highlights how the cycling revolution in London has been completely exaggerated.
