Ned Boulting takes Bikeology show to Edinburgh Fringe - today till Saturday

Broadcaster and writer's one man show sees him reflect on cycling and 15 years of covering the Tour de France...

If you're in Edinburgh for the next couple of days and have the afternoon free, here's something worth popping along to - broadcaster and writer Ned Boulting is bringing his Bikeology show to the Fringe.

Performances are at the Assembly Checkpoint on Bristo Place at 2.30pm on Thursday (today), Friday and Saturday - although for that final date, you're asked to contact the venue for details which we guess means that show is sold out.

Tickets cost £15 (concessions £12) and here's the description of the show:

Journalist, television presenter and best-selling author Ned Boulting brings his acclaimed ride through the world of cycling to the Fringe for the first time, for 3 shows only! From the humble commuter to the winner of the Tour de France*, Boulting takes an off-centre look at what it means to ride a bike, drawing on his own underwhelming adventures in the saddle and his 15 summers spent hurtling around France in pursuit of the sport's biggest names. All two-wheeled life is here! *Ned Boulting has never tested positive for performance enhancing substances.

Boulting will be touring with the show in England and Wales from late September through to the end of November and you can find the dates here.
