Landmarks across Italy were lit up in pink this week as the country marked 100 days to go until the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia.
Town halls, ancient structures and even ice sculptures in places on the route of this year’s race were bathed in pink, as was the memorial on the Passo dello Stelvio to one of the legends of the race, the great Fausto Coppi.
