#mycyclingweekend: View from the saddle

Let us see what you see. Show us suburban climbs, dreary cul-de-sacs, or even your riding buddies. The more normal, the better!

Why do we cycle? We don't just cycle for fitness or to get from a to b. We tend not to cycle just because our friends do or because of some strange sense of duty, either. We cycle for that feeling. You know the one. That 7am misty morning freedom. The sort of feeling that can be captured in a photo, and shared with road.cc and Cycle Surgery every #mycyclingweekend.

That's what you've got to do this #mycyclingweekend. Share your photos with us.

We want to see the frosted cars on your street when you leave your driveway first thing in the morning. Share the muddy shortcut that you can't help but take half way through your ride. We'd even like to see you and your riding buddies and your battered old bikes - or new ones if you're lucky.

All you've got to do is fire up your nearest internet connected device and post a photo of your weekend ride to Instagram or Twitter. Make sure to include the #CycleSurgery and #mycyclingweekend hashtags, though!

To make all this photo sharing even sweeter than it already is, our friends at Cycle Surgery are offering a prize to the photo we pick to lead next week's round-up. Our lucky winner will win a Genuine Innovations pump.

Before we leave you to your weekend rides, here are some inspiration shots to get your creative photographic juices flowing:
