Well, the random number generator has done it's business for the last time in the 2010 Halfords Tour Series, and the lucky winner of a pair of VIP hospitality tickets is... Sphide, who lives just across the border from Chester in Wrexham, going by their user profile.
Sphide went along last year and said it's worth going to even without the VIP treatment - well, hopefully tomorrow a great time will be had the other side of the velvet rope.
Thanks to all who took part in our competitions during the Tour Series, and obviously keep an eye out for other Schwag Grabs here on road.cc throughout the year!
==========
Two rounds to go in this year’s Halfords Tour Series, and that means there's just one last chance for a lucky road.cc user to win a pair of VIP hospitality tickets up for grabs for MONDAY's race in Chester thanks to the generosity of the Halfords Tour Series organisers. Yes, we said Monday not Tuesday, round 9 of the Tour Series will be on Monday so that TV coverage can go out on Tuesday and doesn't clash with Wednesday night's big England game.
The tickets give you fantastic views of the start and finish line, meaning you can watch some top-notch racing action and cheer on the home team, the none other than our own Kuota-road.cc. Your prize also includes the chance to enjoy some fine food beforehand, with a free bar open before and during the race. Hospitality opens at 5.30pm, so you’d need to get to Chester by then or shortly after, with racing getting under way at 7pm.
The prize, which is for two people, includes:
• Exclusive views of the finish line and end-of-race podium presentations
• Buffet Dinner with accompanying wines
• Complimentary bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages)
• Tea and coffee served all day
• A few words from Tour Series Chief Executive, Hugh Roberts or Technical Director, Mick Bennett
• Official Tour Series programme
• Experienced hostess and wait staff to ensure the smooth running of your day.
To enter, just put make a comment in the thread below – normal road.cc competition rules apply, so only one entry per person, and good luck. We’ll be drawing the lucky winner’s name at a later-than-usual tea time on Sunday so make sure you're contactable … ahem, out of work hours, or check back on Sunday, which of course you'd do anyway.
