Kuota-road.cc launch Tour Series in Chester

Team visit their Tour Series "Home town"...

Team Kuota-road.cc visited Chester yesterday to promote the upcoming Halfords Tour Series. Chester will host  Round 9 on June 21st when things should be boiling up nicely ahead of the series finale in Woking.

Team managers Cherie Pridham and Eddie White along with riders Dan Davies, Jon Mozley, Jeroen 'JJ' Janssen,  Matt Bailey and Jefte de Bruin were welcomed to the town by Cllr Mike Jones and Cllr Richard Short. Kuota-road.cc are the town's adopted team for the Tour Series and the guys were doing their best to drum up local support with interviews for the local press and TV.

The 1.3Km course around Chester town centre should suit the town's adopted team, with JJ and Jefte de Bruin being particular at home on the cobbled sections.

Cherie told the assembled local media that: “We are excited about coming to race the ninth leg of the Tour Series in Chester.  The fantastic historical setting with cobbled streets and a tight course make for thrilling racing.”

Chester is expecting a crowd of 10,000 to come and watch the racing. We'll certainly be there supporting our team so come along and say hello. We'll have more on our plans for the series and getting out meeting everyone just as soon as we've figured out exactly what our plans are.
