Fantastic cycling events from Bristol to County Durham

The RideCatcher has 7 country-spanning cycling events including Ride the Route in Scotland and the Bristol Belter in the South West

This week's round of RideCatching covers the length of England, and also dips into Wales on two seperate occasions.

This weekend you've got the option of a ride in the South West and Wales, the North West, and the Midlands, while the following weekend sees Bristol play host to the Belter sportive.

On that weekend you'll have the chance to ride parts of Stage 2 of the Tour of Britain the day before the race up in Clitheroe on the Ride the Route Sportive.

Later in September the exciting Revolve 24 takes place, as does Bike Bath's sister event Bike Oxford.

Unfortunately, none of our rides this week venture into the beautiful Scottish hills, but keep your eyes out next week!

The Tour of Britain is set to get underway between Beaumaris to Wrexham on Sunday September 6. It's due to then go on to cover roads from Cockermouth to Floors Castle, which is where the Green Jersey bike shop in Clitheroe comes in.

Placed rather handily on Stage 2's route, the bike shop will host a pre-race ride of the route the day before - that name is becoming all the more relevant now, eh?

Entrance will cost you £25, and you can do that via the British Cycling website.

Sunday September 13

There are shorter rides for those who would like to spend some of their day relaxing rather than recovering they include an 80km route and a 32km route. The longer of the two will cost the same as the 128km ride, however the 32km route will only cost £20 on the day, and £18 if you book ahead.

You can sign up via British Cycling.

Saturday September 19

Revolve 24 - Brands Hatch

Fawkham, Longfield, Kent DA3 8NG

Are you looking for a challenge for later in September?

Revolve24 is a new series of 24-hour relay events based at famous motor circuits, and the first one is at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 19-20 September.

Motor circuit relay events aren't new, by any means, but the Revolve 24 team are looking to bring some new technology into the fray to spice things up.

Once you've signed up download the app to help you train and keep track of competitors. When the big day comes use the same app to keep track of your team's progress.

A team from road.cc will be in attendance. Click here to find out more.

Are you sure there is a Castle Combe cycling club? Couldn't find any sign of it online and the link you provided talks about AndyCookCycling
