Future of professional gravel racing
Professional gravel racing and its potential future is a hot topic right now. Cane Creek’s Tigon shock combines air and coil tech
Cane Creek has introduced the Tigon shock, which combines air and coil technologies. The shock utilises the RAMP Tube Technology and features a larger shaft similar to an air shock, capable of withstanding more frame forces. There is a secondary air spring and coil spring to control shock progression, offering up to 35 per cent progression compared to traditional shocks and improved grip. The Tigon also includes high- and low-speed compression adjustment, rebound adjustment, and a two-position climb switch. Available in various sizes, the Tigon is priced at £800.

Giant overhauls Stance trail bike
Giant has updated its Stance trail mountain bike with a new Giant STL suspension fork and a Contact Switch AT dropper seatpost. The Stance lineup now includes three models: Stance 29 1, Stance 29 2, and Stance (27.5-inch). The Stance 29 1 maintains the Crest 34 SL RCL fork but with 140mm travel, while the other two models feature the new Giant STL Suspension Fork. The revamped model prices start at £1,999.
Transition’s TransAm makes a return for 2024
Transition is reintroducing its TransAm hardtail mountain bike after a seven-year hiatus, offering updated geometry and a choice of two colours for a limited time. The bike is designed for mucky winter riding, featuring a modern frame with adjustable sliding dropouts, accommodating single-speed setups and various wheel configurations. It boasts an aggressive geometry with a 64-degree head tube angle and a 150mm travel fork. The full build includes a Marzocchi Z2 fork, SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain, Maxxis tyres, and a range of dropper post options. The frame-only option costs $900, while the full build is priced at $3,700.
