We’re re-building the road.cc cycle clothing range from the ground up… starting with road.cc socks so if you fancy treating your tootsies check them out.

Designed in Bath and crafted in Colorado by the lovely people at Save our Soles they’re made from core-spun Coolmax fabric essentially Coolmax fibres sandwiched between a layer of nylon and Lycra – Save our Soles reckon this gives an excellent combination of moisture management plus strength and stability. We’ve been wearing them A LOT since the shipment landed a few days ago and they certainly are comfortable with none of that clamminess you get from some polyester socks.

When we decided to do some road.cc socks we didn’t want to stick the road.cc argyle on any old sock we wanted it to be a good sock. The "cc" in road.cc stands for cycling club (yeah okay technically it stands for the Cook Islands) so this is club kit at a fair price, there’s more on the way too, the original road.cc lycra jersey is coming soon… and whisper it, we’ve got some woollen tops in production as well. Oh, we’ll be talking more about the whole club thing soon too.

Back to the socks… these have the standard Save our Soles comfy Stretch Cuff and a mesh panel on the top of the foot for extra breathability, plus a looped toe seam for extra comfort, best of all it also has the performance enhancing benefits of saying road.cc on the sole – something only you will know about when you’ve got them on… Oh, and did we mention how good looking they are?

road.cc socks costn just £6.99 and can be bought exclusively from the road.cc shop.

Sizes available: small, medium, large, and Xlarge to fit shoe sizes 4 – 12.5UK or 35 – 46.5EU.

Finally, it goes without saying that socks this good do not currently have UCI approval and probably never will.

Get ’em while they are hot… but still reassuringly dry.
