Grips are incredibly personal things, but for the few elites lucky enough, they can join forces with brands to produce grips to their own specifications. That’s exactly the case with OneUp Components’ latest grips, as the brand has joined forces with its sponsored athlete and downhill prodigy, Jackson Goldstone, to create a pair of grips primed for the downhill circuit.

OneUp’s latest Jackson Goldstone signature grips have been designed with some serious help from the man himself. The rider who has seen huge success throughout 2025 has put in the effort when crafting his signature grips, having drawn up features at OneUp’s office, and riding prototypes.

Although these grips are designed to help Goldstone top podiums, the brand is certain that you don’t need to ride with the level of skill he does to revel in the grips’ benefits. They’re built to cater to all levels of riders who seek comfort and traction.

There’s a lot that sets Goldstone’s signature grips apart from a pretty saturated field. The 38mm, large-diameter outer flange has been added to keep hands from slipping off the ends of the grip. That flange is then cut with a wedge shape to provide riders something to lean on when cornering.

As with many race-focused grips, these grips feature a raised palm pad (measuring 33mm in diameter as opposed to 29mm elsewhere), which OneUp says adds comfort and ergonomics. Generally, it’s a slim grip, as is a trend with top-level DH riders, but the raised palm apparently locks the heel of your palm between the pad and the outer flange, for greater security. Another feature that’s reasonably common on a range of grips is finger ribs on the grip’s lower.

Goldstone’s signature grips use a blend of different durometer rubber. For the main portion of the grip, a soft 20A rubber is used, while the outer flange is constructed of a firmer 45A rubber, for a boost in durability and support.

Elsewhere, the inner core has a cutout under the thumb, so the rubber sits directly on the bar, which the brand claims adds damping and comfort. The rest of the grip then benefits from a knurled texture.

Available in five colours, White, Dark Green, Tan, Maroon, and Black, OneUp Components’ Jackson Goldstone signature grips will set you back £28.
