There is a start list for the race here –
http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Sparkassen_Munsterland_Giro_2016_Startlist
I picked my team by using this and selecting the ‘show all riders’ box on the pick team page.
I went through team by team. eg. find team EQS for Etixx and one of their riders, BOA for Bora Argon , etc.
but you could type in the riders name to find them.
A lot of the lesser teams in the race aren’t available but all the regular teams are.

He cam 2nd in 3 of the Golden Kilometer sprints which gave him 12 points plus 30 points for finishing 2nd in the stage.
Total 42 points

I was hoping the players
I was hoping the players above me would have fewer transfers left and I could stage a late surge.
But 48 points behind and 9 transfers left doesn’t seem like enough now, especially as Sammy Sanchez pulled out. đ
For the leaders it looks like it will come down to luck in which sprinter finishes where. At least the finish isn’t on the Champs-Elysees where punctures can play a major role.
Good luck to all.
With regard the actual stage 20, a break taking it looks unlikely now with GC teams probably looking for bonus seconds. Hopefully my 2 transfers in Fraile & Gesink can do something miraculous with Yates & Konig left behind at the bottom of the final climb.

I played a bit of a long game
I played a bit of a long game today, Valverde & Pardilla out , with Talansky & S.Sanchez in. Both should do OK in the TT and pick up GC points at least in the last stages.
Not enough transfers left to gamble on one off stages.

Only change for today is
Only change for today is Quintana in for Chaves which probably spells disaster for Quintana.
I think the break could be like on Stage8 – a complete lottery. So no other changes.

Difficult to decide what to
Difficult to decide what to so in these breakaway stages. I had some break options in yessterday and so decided to keep faith in them and make no changes. Geniez, Mate & Hardy.
Was tempted to bring in LL Sanchez but didn’t. đ
Same tactic for stage 10 too, although I’m debating whether to swap GC riders but may wait until after the 2 flatter stages coming up.
