    I just noticed he is

I just noticed he is completely missing, not just from La Vuelta but from the ‘show all riders’ list.

Did he do something to upset someone?

The full starting list is out

The full starting list is out now , so I would expect the competition to open tomorrow at the latest.

I think it is going to be a bit of a lottery, there are few, if any strong sprinters teams and the current GC trend doesn’t chase stage wins.

So I expect lots of wins for the break.

    Agreed.

    Agreed.

My mistake was not picking Gaviria who has proven he can win at the top level in a flat sprint, whereas Thijseen is still unreliable and van den Berg isn’t really a pure sprinter.

It is the first time since I started playig again that I looked at competitors teams, it could be that led to some bad judgement.

Although my TdF performance might suggest otherwsie.

    I think my changes yesterday

I think my changes yesterday evening blew that for me. I took out Gaviria & Moschetti and brought in Thijssen and van den Berg.

Could the six points lost be the difference?

My other change Walscheid was a complete fail.

The lottery of choosing sprinters bites again.

    Luckily I didn’t get caught

Luckily I didn’t get caught out by this in my standard team and still in with a chance of winning the competition.

Only a few points in it and all down to a sprinters ‘lucky dip’.

    Some riders are leaving early

Some riders are leaving early to participate in the Worlds.

My chances in the purist competition will be ruined by Kooij leaving early.

Groenewegen on his shredded wheat again today. Guess who took him out thinking this stage was too hard for him?

    I’m finding Ewan more

I’m finding Ewan more irritating right now, does well in the first 2 sprint stages and then he goes back to getting lost in the run in.

Trying a new tactic, picking riders whose surnames begin with the same letter. Tomorrow is a P day!!

On occasions I have made my transfers and then forgotten to click the confirm transfer button. If you don’t do all the transfers at once this will give you a mixed up team.

Nods, I took out Cav & Groenewegen too but it wasn’t quite as bad as you,  van Aert scored well and Ferron is still in the race.

Do you think Groenewegen had two Shreded Wheat for breakfast? or maybe Frosties !!
