Just watched an episode of traffic cops (S5 E13) – guess which incident resulted in no charges?

Witnesses heard a loud noise and saw cyclist bouncing off front of lorry. Police interpret this as, nobody saw it, just the cyclist lying on the road – probably blown off by a gust of wind.

Bike shows no sign of a collision despite the rack being completely smashed into the seat post. Plus lorry is missing a piece of trim and has scuff marks at the base of the bumper.

As the cyclists injuries are ‘just’ a bit of concussion and a shoulder injury, they won’t do a proper investigation.

A bit of an eye-opener. There seems to be a lot more effort put into gathering evidence when it comes to some of the other offences that are featured on the programme.

Just looking at the front of the lorry, I see that the driver has chosen to obscure his already limited view out of his huge front window by placing a hard hat right in the middle.
