I’ve recently subscribed – but this has been an issue for years for me, I wonder if it’s like this for anyone else?

If I log in the site will forget me within 1-2 days. Sometimes I can go to off.road.cc and be logged in there, but not into road.cc. I’ve accepted all cookies and have tried clearing cookies but the problem remains.

The fact that the login pathway for the site is to go to a different page, rather than a pop-up, and the general slowness of loading of the page (and reloading of the main site afterwards) makes this frustrating rather than inconvenient.

I’ll give it a go – but honestly using a different browser just to access road.cc is a similar level of frustration to having to login too often 🙂

Yeah I guess there is a

Yeah I guess there is a timeout or something – I know that banking sites have very short timeouts for example, and the same with other ecommerce sites (though Amazon seems to remember me forever). Then we have wikipedia which remembers me for about 30 days, and so on.

I just don’t feel road.cc is super top secret secure enough to justify a short timeout, and if it could be changed, it’d be much appreciated by me at least.

It used to be a few days for me, now it’s a week exactly on my phone or my PC.

I suspect it’s regional. I’m in the US, but when I was in the UK for three weeks last year, my phone never got logged out.
