Range Extender for Lapierre Sensium 5.2

Hi, Just bought a Lapierre Sensium 5.2 and I am looking for a range extender for it. It has a Mahle x35+ system. Will and branded range extender work (orbea, willier etc) or is there something very specific about them? Thanks in advance M
