I’ve just started a 16 week training programme and hitherto I’ve been riding with a Garmin / Hammerhead with a FENIX 3HR watch and a cadence monitor. The reason that I’m doing it is that my riding has plateau’d and I want to see whether I can up it a level or two.
I”m not a tech lover, but to get the most out of the programme I’m reluctantly considering getting a power metre – probably from eBay – and wondered whether anyone had any experience of: single vs dual sided power metres, the data interface between the Garmin / Hammerhead and the general advantages of using a power metre versus what I’m currently doing…
