I’m going to see this bike on friday (it says listing has ended but scroll down to view)
I asked the seller the model and age but they were unable to tell me. After looking through Orbea catalogues 2000-10 it seems the frame is a 2004 O2 Mitis* but the bike doesn’t match any of theset-ups I can find that it was sold in.
* Frame in catalogue [pg 24 http://content.orbea.com/descargar.php?file=2004%20DEALER%20BOOK%20ORBEA.pdf&folder=PDF%2F%2Forbea%2Fcorporate%2Forbea+content%2Fcatalogs%5D
I’m unsure on the other components. It’s an 8×2 speed with Shimano STI shifters. Zeus AC carbon forks. Wheels are Kronos Racing which from what I read aren’t great.
Any opinions or advice would be a great help. Is it worth buying for the listed price and changing some components?
Bit of background I have signed up for a duathlon during a bout of lockdown induced madness and am upgrading from a trusty (but weighty 15kg) tourer I picked up for £70 near the start of lockdown
