Will this nonsense never end?  “Lord” Hogan-Howe, whom I deeply object to dignifying with the title, was the genius in charge of the Met investigation which published totally groundless accusations of child abuse against a genuine hero Field Marshal Lord Bramall, eventually retracting the allegations but not before the target’s poor wife had passed away.  That this clown now seeks to influence policy infuriates me.

Whenever I see things like this I feel like saying “nah don’t worry, ain’t neve gonna happen”. Then I remind myself of Niemöller’s lament. “First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
