To be fair, it’s super easy to find all sorts of bold claims on AliExpress.

Yep, I’ve had the hunt 4 seasons and now the carbon 50’s. No issues so far. Roll well and are light for the price. Good service too, came a month earlier than the estimate on the pre order.

Only thing to note is the freewheel is very loud. Doesn’t bother me though.

I quite like a load freewheel. There’s something reassuring about it. (Probably just me…)

I’ve got Hunt 4 Seasons on my cross bike, thinking about getting some more to put the road tyres on as there is not much opportunity for cross racing atm.

Maybe someone will arrive on this thread suggesting that Hunt are a badged generic wheel set you can get much cheaper on AliExpress (without ever providing a direct link to such a mega bargain).

    I wouldn’t bother with the 4

I wouldn’t bother with the 4 seasons aero tbh. But that’s not to say they are bad wheels but they are so shallow that any aero advantage over the 4 seasons is going to be marginal.

fwiw I currently have a set of mk1 4 seasons discs, a set of Aero Lights which are pretty much the disc version of yours, and a set of 650b adventure sports with the Son dyno.

Theyve all been bombproof and Hunt have been good at answering queries and ordering spares, and no mechanical issues so far.  I did 5000miles across the Aero lights and the Adventure sports last year.

So as long as you don’t actually expect much in the way of aero they’ll be fine.  Your might be better off getting the standard 4 seasons and some nice new tyres though IMO.

Andy’s point is a good one for users of the disc version. You need a lock ring tool without the Center spike if using QR’s as the first few mm of the shaft is actually hex shaped.

currently saving up for a set of the 48mm deep carbon jobbies that are twice the price, but “proper aero”

I’ve put 4600 happy miles on

I’ve put 4600 happy miles on their dynamo Adventure 650B wheelset. Only issue was they needed one more wrap of tubeless tape for my Rene Herse tires to pop on. I also had to buy a new tool to tighten the centerlock for the rotors. The older tool I had wouldn’t fit on there past the through axle.
