    Hi All

Hoping someone can help me out with this. I am setting up a bike with a in frame space (in the down tube) for Di2 EW-RS910. I am all good on the back end but the front end set up I could do with some advice.

Manual suggests to buy a EW-JC130 Y connector with one end going to one shifter, one to the other and one coming out of handlebars. This is then connected to the EW-WU111 (Wireless unit) which in turn is then connected to the EW-RS910 Junctions that is installed in the frame (not the bar end).

    My questions are:

    Does this sound correct?

What length EW-JC130 (SS, SM, MM) do I need?

    Is there a better way?

    The wireless unit can easily

The wireless unit can easily go into the frame. When I tried one, I had it connected straight to the battery in the seat tube. (Don’t know if a metal frame might affect it though).

    Hi

    Hi

Yep the frame has a specific place for the charging port in the downtube. Shimanio wants me to set this up as per the attached image (F = EW-JC130, H = EW-WU111, I = EW-RS910). But I wonder if there is a better way where I can hide the wireless unit in the frame and/or not have to use the Y connector wire.

I take it the frame provides

I take it the frame provides access to the button and charging port of the EW-RS910 or you’ll have issues. Otherwise, you’d be best off roughly measuring the distances required from where you plan on installing the cables and add on a bit of slack. Extra cable isn’t a problem so err on too long rather than too short.
