Collision outside Bristol museum (25/08)

I've just (08.20) ridden past the aftermath of 'something' outside Bristol museum. There was a cyclist in recovery position with people around him, and an SUV and a bin lorry blocking both lanes of the road. Two bikes on the footpath, so I guess one of them belonged to the guy on the road. No idea what happened, but if anyone else saw what happened it might be worth contacting Avon & Somerset Police?
