Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes…

I just don’t remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it’s irresponsible.

‘A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.

“It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment.” ‘

The headline makes no sense and the body doesn’t make it any clearer. How do you crash into a road? There was a driver though

Probably went to chase the cyclist, lost them and can’t now remember where it happened.

Why was it a “crazy” driver ? The actual facts of the situation are that it took evasive action to avoid a cyclist zipping on and off the pavement. The cyclist got away and now the owner is left with a write off!

I reckon they swerved to avoid the hi-viz cones

    Quite a few injuries, looks

Quite a few injuries, looks nasty.  Problem here is 2 modes of public transport are now out of commission – and looks like no-one’s getting through there.  At least you should be able to pass under the railway on the parallel street.

Presumably this means a training course for someone, at the least?

    “The railway bridge should

The railway bridge should have had better situational awareness and been wearing hi-viz”

    https://twitter.com/NetworkRailSCOT/status/1660265603838492678

This is what we’re dealing with right now. No trains can run between Glasgow Central & Paisley Gilmour St in either direction until our engineers have checked that the bridge is safe to reopen. They can only do this once the bus has been removed.
