I just don’t remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it’s irresponsible.

Drink driver sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court

Prosecutor Bethany Adams told the court that on August 20 at 10.45pm police received a report of a blue Seat crashing into bollards on Century Close in Devizes.

When officers attended the scene they found the defendant, who was slurring his words, in the driver’s seat of the vehicle which had been damaged during the incident along with the bollards and pavement.

Sherman was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
