We put this little program together for our new high end (expensive) trainer, figured we could also give its software away as its less then 2MB works with Ant+ & Wahoo Kickr/Computrainer. does the same stuff as trainer road for free. Also has a Video route player, virtual speed, tcx export, watts derived from power curve of 100s different trainers. No installation needed….If your looking at a wall this winter & have a Ant+ speed sensor then this will at least get you some numbers to look at!

Would love any feedback no matter how bad & offending!

I’ve pointed to the vlrr folder.
I can see all the rides listed.
And I can see the two demo vlrr files.

I click on a demo vlrr file.
    The screen is still black.
    I click start ride.
The four buttons and the new ride button are displayed at the top.
Below these – the screen is still black.
I start to ride and the four buttons and new ride button disappear to display a black screen.
I stop the ride and the buttons reappear, but no video is played and no sound is ever output.

Just checked & the small demo videos seem fine, you need to actually select the demo .vlrr file in the left pane, software will need to know where you downloaded the file to. It just needs the video file as the data is already installed as soon as you select a folder that holds a recognized video file. Right now clicking the file acts as a temporary ride menu screen. This part is going to be turned into a proper menu that will display the type of ride & a proper name in the next week or so.

If you click the file & still see nothing but can see the rides route profile, try clicking the Ride button.

If you get it working & want to do some of the rides copy the exe to a safe location like a USB3 external drive or seperate partition/Hard drive. This is so you can easily move the rides to another PC if you want. The rides will be registered to the drive the exe is located on.

Downloaded and running within minutes. Was worried I was in 32-bit Windows for a moment.
    Excellent work! Chapeau.

However, the two demo videos, I downloaded and licensed – I get a black screen. They don’t play.

I would say from the photos that the UI looks a little daunting…

I have it on my macbook but with bootcamp šŸ˜‰ Some of the screens like the one where you can pick your trainer are a bit complicated at first but all you do is put your hand over the daunting bits, pick your trainer & press save….get back to the training screen. We are busy polishing the UI, if you check out the included attachment in the 1st post you can see how the video player looks now. The menus & ergo-trainer part will look a lot more like this.
