    A 2012 Allez will have
    A 2012 Allez will have Tarmac-like geometry so if you like that feel then the Tarmac is a great bit of kit.

    If you want comfy mile muncher then Roubaix all the way.

    The problem i have is i’m
    The problem i have is i’m getting it through the ride2work scheme where the most you can get is a thousand and has to be evans. So i’m wanting a carbon bike and thats the only choices

    Although the tarmac is classed as racier i’m assuming its still fine on the climbs, as i say i’m more pulling towards the tarmac,

    They are both great bikes.
    They are both great bikes. The Tarmac is racier, the Roubaix slightly more upright and comfortable but quick nonetheless.

    Take them both for a test and see what you think.
