Front crank question?

Just a quick Saturday morning question is a 105 10 speed triple compatible as a replacement to a 9 speed Sora triple as a straight swap? I know there is a gauge difference on the chain/rollers but would it work without too much messing, as in swapping the rings over, or are they a different PCD/BCD or hole pattern?

Apparently they do work and
Apparently they do work and the hole pattern is the same for changing the rings over. Money spent.
