following a really poor start in the mountains, i’ve torn up my team sheet and gambled on 2 sprint stages, done 6 transfers and bagged a -40 penalty points headwind for today:

    hushovd
    mezgec
    swift
    hutarovich
    renshaw
    kruopis

    +
    henao
    majka
and… vanotti. who? yeah, I dont know what he’s doing there either…

I guess I should mention this
I guess I should mention this daily,

Its the sprints competition that’s being scored, not the points, because the points are purely finish line :B

    Maybe I have missed something
Maybe I have missed something but should Rafal Majka not get 15 points today? 10 for GC and 5 for leading the points comp?

For what its worth, from the parcours I’d normally say its about 80-20 in favour of a sprint finish (it was a sprint last year), except for the fact that this 6-man-teams thing could make it more difficult for the pack to get organised if a good late attack goes. Plus there are GC gains to be had this year, whereas last year they were all keeping their powder dry for the penultimate stage. The rest of this week could be very unpredictable…

    Huzarski
