Cleaning shoes

Hi folks,

I have a pair of white Specialized shoes (can’t recall the model, but the cheaper ones with 3 velcro straps) and as it stands they are rather grubby. The mesh vents have acquired a grey/yellow tinge, and there’s some grime in the leather sections. My usual tricks of baby wipes has taken some off the leather, and some from the plastic edging, but can anyone recommend what else I can do to clean them up a little.

Before you say it, I know its my own fault for using white shoes, but they look far better when they are clean
