    Stage 5 under way and there's already a break of 6 up front:

    – Sicard (EUS)

    – Arashiro and Reza (EUC)

    – Lutsenko (AST)

    – De Gendt (VCD)

    – Delaplace (SOJ)

    I brought in Greipel, Kittel and Van Poppel last night dropping EBH, Millar and Amador.  Hoping that some of the sprinters can stick it out and that Cav is still suffering from his illness.

    Considering my transfers and I don’t think I’m going to make any.

    I wanted to bring in Cav but with Greipel already I’d have to drop either Chavanel and Kwaitkowski (so I can bring in Kristoff) or Chava and someone like Gerrans bringing in Cav and a cheap rider.

    Either way I don’t think it’s worth it given that Chava/Kwiat got 28 points yesterday so including future transfers Cav would need to score 40 odd points today and Kristoff another 15-20 just to break even.

    I’d had Navardauskas in for the first four stages to no avail, then swapped to Kittel as well…

    Well that was S***. Made 20
    Well that was S***. Made 20 pointer penalty and ended up with 67 points.

    Came in something like 4000th and dropped over 400 places.

    Stage win now is all i can get from this tour, really disapointed 🙁

    Hopefully go up a few places or remain level, no transfers tomorrow leaving 4 for Friday

    Average day for my actual team. I’d dropped EBH, but had Sagan, Kristoff, Gerrans and El Fares, plus a few crumbs of jersey points from Kwiatkowski.

    No changes for tomorrow, or the day after (barring withdrawals).

    Not too bad. At least Gerrans
    Not too bad. At least Gerrans and D van Poppel got a few points. Bit too tough for Kittel or was it Degenkolb’s turn. Bringing in Greipel for Kwia wouldn’t have made any points with a pen (and I haven’t needed to make one of those yet). Going to save some transfers now. Team reasonable for next couple of days, then all change.

    Will drop Chava for Cav
    Will drop Chava for Cav tonight and possibly bring in Kristoff too. Kittel dissapointed but got taken down in a crash 15km from the finish so that was just bad luck. Will be keeping Greipel.

    Played it cagey and worked out OK – Had Sagan and Kristoff, plus GC points for Gerro, Albo and Kwiato. Nearly brought in Greipel for a 10-pt pen, but that would only have got me about 6 more points. 2 sprinters in for Kwiatowski and ALbasini tomorrow (probably…)
