I forgot to create my purist team for Dauphiné

I forgot to create my purist team for the Dauphiné, and I guess that if I create one team now that the race is started it will not count as Purist. Since I only play as Purist, if I create a team now for the Dauphiné, will that put me off the general purist classification for the rest of the season?
