Scoring on Stage 6 Giro

    I am having trouble understanding the overall scoring after stage 6 in the Giro. I scored 155 total points. After stage 5 I was listed as having 8362 total points. After stage 6 I was listed with 8380. Is something wrong with the cumulative scoring?

    today’s total is correct.

    not sure why the overalls don’t seem to be right, i’ll check

    viviani got 30 for 2nd, 8 intermediate sprint points, 10 for combativity and 4 for 2nd in the red jersey comp.

    I was hoping you’d be asking
    I was hoping you’d be asking the same thing as me but hey, maybe someone can come along who’ll be able to answer both:

    Cavendish won the stage and scored 45 points. But my listing has Viviani getting 52… I can’t get my head round it at all. Can anybody shed some light, please?
