help needed for directions form Wiltshire to London

    I’ve just been offered a lift to Ramsbury in Wiltshire tomorrow morning and am wanting to ride back to London armed with an iPhone. usually I go on routes that I know or have been told about.
    How would you work out a route?

    National Cycle Route 4 goes
    National Cycle Route 4 goes very close to Ramsbury and continues on to London. I have never cycled it but it may be worth looking at.

    I often use Mapmyride to plot
    I often use Mapmyride to plot a route (for yours I’d keep to the rural roads but roughly follow the A4). You can then “send to phone” and follow the route like a satnav. There are no verbal instructions though, so you need to be able to see thd screen!
