well i made a right mess
well i made a right mess there. I read the route completely wrong and put in all my climbers and got rid of the sprinters. Will be lucky to get anywhere near the 100 mark.

Yes, I was away for the end
Yes, I was away for the end of the Vuelta the last two years but luckily the hotel or cottage we were in had wireless so quickly put in some transfers each night and did ok. If anything I did better when I didn’t have much time to think about it. It was a good pick today. I never would have risked it but maybe he’s trying to peak later this year. The Ardennes must be his goal and I’ll consider him for my team then. The best thing is when you get someone on a long break with tons of mountain points, like Voeckler and Valverde on consecutive days last year on the Tour. Won the Valverde stage and got the Bryton I was after!chrisdstripes
Yes, the classics and grand
Yes, the classics and grand tours are the most fun, I’ll be away for the Dauphine and TdS this year anyway so I’ll be dropping down the overall in June. Its great fun when you pick someone out of left-field and he brings in the win like today tho – I’ll enjoy it while it lasts. (Ie until 3 of my classics purists take each other out tomorrow…)chrisdstripes
PCS have now decided Dumoulin
PCS have now decided Dumoulin was third which would give me a podium badge, don’t know if its confirmed tho…TERatcliffe26

Yes – very lucky! Keep looking over your East Anglian shoulder Alan, I’m gaining! You’ll catch up a little bit, but Meier scored me 10 and otherwise fairly similar. But my team for tomorrow should be strong as I expect the GC riders to go for it so I’ve dropped the sprinters and got a couple of riders for a break as well as all the main riders. Maybe should have dropped Wiggo for Dumoulin today but thought Wiggo and Sky might have a go like stage 1 but I expect more attacking tomorrow. Nearly didn’t play this game after missing the first stage. In fact you were top for a day as my team temporarily disappeared! Doubt if I’ll play California though if I’m doing ok in Giro. It’s the Classics and Grand Tours that I like, although the one-week tours have been more interesting this year without Sky’s domination.

Thanks TER – yes Ratto has done you well all week hasn’t he? I always get him and Gatto confused and end up avoiding them both. :/Yup he has done me well, just doesn’t figure too often in a team that has Viviani and Sagan. Most seem to avoid him, at least on the first stage he does well anyway
