    Hi,

My short list – Trek Madone 4.7. Bianchi Sempre Pro Athena. Storck Scenero G2. All feel great on the 20 minute test ride. Magazines generally review them well. All can be got from local (10 mile radius) LBS of which each shop is known for being a good specialist. Absolutely stumped. Any good ideas or another bike you expected to see (Canyon Internet only and I am technically illiterate so need the LBS for guidance). Thanks.

    Bianchi Sempre with Athena.
Bianchi Sempre with Athena. Frame gets great reviews and is good enough to be ridden by some pro teams, and it’s Campag. Double yes from me. Though the Storck might be nice too…. đŸ˜•

    Don’t know about the other
Don’t know about the other two, but I was looking at the Trek 4.7 Seems like a really nice bike, but I wanted to change a couple of the bontrager bits for something else. The fact that those bits don’t get sold as aftermarket parts means that they wouldn’t simply swp them and let me pay the upgrade cost, I’d need to pay the full price for the parts and ebay the leftovers. Don’t know how happy you are with the full spec of each bike.

Other than that, pick the one which looks fastest (IMHO the dark blue on the 4.7 is class, but the Trek brand is a bit ‘meh’ next to such exotica as Bianchi or Storck) or which makes you want to give it the beans.
