    So close and yet so far. I had 4 of that chasing group and then when they saw they couldn’t win they sat up. Damn them. Should have had one or two sprinters though. At least another top ten tour badge as consolation.

    Great race, make sure you watch highlights (was watching RAI via VPS on Italian server).

    Poor Pippo Pozzato had no idea Biel Kadri was up the road and had won (no race radios, and the group was coming round Colosseum so not quite in finishing straight).

    Pozzato gave it a big victory salute as he crossed the line to take sprint for second. Very sheepish in the post-race interview 🙂
