Survived the apocalypse, all hail the Solstice!

So it is passed 12pm on the 22nd and all parts of the world have survived through 21/12/12 and Apocalypse has not come. The Mayan calendar has entered the 14th baktun. I guess they didn’t have any IT guys left around to fix the glitch in their calendar.

But more importantly we must hail the Solstice and the return of the Sun King! Its not even Christmas yet and every day will now be bringing a little bit more light back as the days get longer and push the evil demon Night back out of my precious afternoons. How dare he arrive before 6pm. The long hard road to the summer begins here.

Now if it would just stop bleeding raining I might get out on my bike.
