I am looking to try and hook up with other cyclists locally. People who might share similar interests as well. Signed up to SkyRide already and impressed with that but looking for other less formal link ups locally.

All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks,

    John

Not sure how good a training partner I’d be [I’m probably a bit too old & slow – 50 in October!] I’m on twitter too @wjputt Thanks John

There are active clubs in Chester, Wrexham, Crewe, Congleton and Kidsgrove. Members aren’t necessarily from the town itself so you might find someone living just down the road. Hope you find some company to ride with.

It’s a bit late in the season now but midweek club time trials are as good as anything to find a friendly social scene.

This is as good a place as
This is as good a place as any.

    Where are you based?
    Where do you ride?
What kind of distances do you ride?
    How often are you out?

If you answer those, then i’m sure someone will be in and around your area that might fancy hooking up for a ride. If not, they might know someone.

I have a similar problem, so been a solo rider for a long time now 😉
