Finally hit a target

    I set myself a target at the start of a race/tour and never seem to get it.

    So say, top 50 for the race as an example.

    At the start of the TdF I knew I was only going to be around for some of it. So I decided purist was the way to go.

    I set myself the target of top premium purist. BINGO. Today I hit my target and only 102 behind the top purist aswell. Not bad I thought.

    So, now the question AGAIN, that I have been asking since the first week of the tour. I know there is no expensive bike this year or whatever. Give me a badge and i’ll be happy 😉

    But I want to know, Does the purist run like the transfers. The top premium is the overall winner of something??? 😀

    By the end of the first week
    By the end of the first week when I realised I was out of contention for the win I was just trying to limit losses and aimed for top 100 overall, top 50 premium. Ended up 106 and 55 but fingers crossed some people above me might have some Schleck points!

    My purist team was a complete disaster, by mid-way I was left with four guys, Wiggins, Simon, Roux and Marino after Gesink, Poels, Hesjedal, Westra and Lloyd all dropped out :”(

    Well done Gkam – I do the same with targets and went for top 100 overall, but ended up at 156, with 4th place on one stage. How did the other forum regulars get on?
