    Hi All,

I’m thinking of getting myself a modern FOLD AWAY – TURBO-TRAINER. Can or could you (Anyone) recommend a good quality – but, inexpensive Turbo Trainer? Links to your recommendations would be helpful; and very much appreciated.

    Thanks

    M

it sort of is easier to set
it sort of is easier to set up but worth considering the friction caused can kill a tyre very easily on a turbo, so to use one for any length of time you really need a spare wheel with a dedicated tyre or have a tyre and do a swap. with the rollers i just put the bike on and ride.

obviously not trying to put you off but something to consider, 🙂

a friend had a lovely set of pro race 3, and stupidly got through to carcus in 40 minutes, how he didnt notice i dont know!

    Thanks Russ,

I’d thought about Rollers, but haven’t ridden on rollers for over 30, years. Thought the turbo would be easy to set up and manage.

    tacx antares rollers, i know
tacx antares rollers, i know its not a turbo but it folds very small and is far more fun than a turbo. takes 30 or so mins to get used to it but i sharpens your awareness and keeps you motivated.
