    Good morning,

So we have a group of 4 based in the north west heading back after last years excitement to the tour. Last year we drove the whole distance, long hours on French tolls. This year were getting the ferry to Santander and crossing into France and going to follow the tour back towards Paris. Were taking a Navara so we have a bike rack. Now my questions, camping on the Galibier last year wasnt the warmest of weathers. Were taking a gazebo, will this hold up in the wind? 4 sided with leg weights and guide ropes. We also need a shower? Are these solar showers decent? And any other tips/ideas you can think of will be appreciated.

    S

    Powered from the Navara 😉

While you are at it, get a kettle and stove and all that shizz and a 12 volt converter to run it all, just take a spare battery and strap it into the rear cab

A couple of years ago we took several big empty water bottles, filled them up from a stream/tap and left them in the car whilst we went cycling, fortunately it was sunny most of the time so when we got back the car got really hot and the water had heated up to a nice temperature and we used that to shower, but only works if its sunny so probably similar to the solar powered shower.
