Air ambulance wasn’t needed in the end – precautionary measure. TTBOMK, all riders were allowed home from hospital the same afternoon.

I heard about that on
I heard about that on Saturday, as 2 members of my sons cycling club were involved. They luckily escaped with cuts and bruises and nothing broken.

It was part of a U16 Omnium event, though having witnessed the U16’s race at my sons club there is little power difference between them and adult racers.

Best wishes to the injured riders and hope they make a swift recovery.
