So who’s your main man/men for today?

I haven’t got a clue who i’m going to put in.

I could play safe and put a couple of guys who will score from the GC, but i already have Cav, GT and Nava. So i’m not sure.

I was going to start making my climbers come in, but there are still flat stages to come and the big climbs don’t really hit till stage 14. Most others the punchy sprinters should manage. Not the likes of Cav and Farrar though 😕

Not the top teams in overall, they are very very conservative with their picks.

Most will score 20 to 40 points today
    *****edit****
See comments below Rubiano picked by one top 20 team, now the new 1, most other teams under 25 points.

    Well great day for me
Well great day for me today
    none in top 16
    1 x team bonus
    3rd & 7th GC
    1st points
22 in total for me, big letdown from 169 yesterday, that said I beat most the team around me in overall except the with the new no. 1 team ManxMissiles with Rubiano and now 2nd overall Punctured with Pozatto

So most top 20 overall teams score less than 20 points, with a couple of exceptions

    Team Garmin-Barracuda
Update: Tyler Farrar crashed and was taken to the hospital in Jensi via ambulance with our team doctor, where he was evaluated. He suffered multiple lacerations to his hand and numerous abrasions.

According to our team doctor Shannon Sovndal, he also suffered a laceration to a superficial artery in the back of his left hand. Preliminary x-rays show no fractures and exam didn’t reveal any tendon injury. His wounds have been treated and he is enroute back to the team hotel.

If someone else could post the results when they are up on here http://www.gazzetta.it/Speciali/Giroditalia/2012/en/?lang=en

Malori now if Pink but was LR last year

Cause its my birthday and i’m away out. If every team wants to donate 1 point, it would be great 😉

    Didn’t even consider Rubiano
Didn’t even consider Rubiano this morning (other than in passing) so not too miffed I missed out, although the 70-something points he’ll probably get for KoM points, KoM jersey, GC and stage win will make a few people very happy.

Joys, i’m just home, so to confirm. Lastras and Hushovd out? Here was my team for the day. Leaving me with 2 transfers for tomorrow. I wonder which ones i’ll have to change :”( :”(

    Thor Hushovd (BMC)
    Filippo Pozzato (FAR)
    Giovanni Visconti (MOV)
    Pablo Lastras (MOV)
    Ramunas Navardauskas (GRM)
    Dennis Vanendert (LOT)
    Stef Clement (RAB)
    Arnaud Demare (FDJ)
    Jon Izagirre (EUS)

Is Nav your best chance for points? Could well be last man home today.
