    The provisional startlists are up on Cycling Fever… Looks like the opening stages could be tricky to predict – bumpy but with flat finishing sections. Stage 5 TT will shake things up, and then stages 6 and 7 have the bigger hills to decide the GC. At first glance there are a lot of strong sprinters and TTers, and 4-5 US teams we haven’t seen much of this season so far, but maybe only a handful of riders (Horner, Liepheimer, Nibali, Van Garderen, Gesink, Lulu Sanchez) competing for the overall. But what do I know…

    Stages 1-7 are for “climbing”
    Stages 1-7 are for “climbing” sprinters, the likes of Boonen, Sagan and Kittel. Stage 8 is the only on for real sprinters.

    Put it this way, If Cav was there, i would only have him for stage 8 😉

    I think you’re right TER –
    I think you’re right TER – I’ve just picked my team, have 4 of the top 10 highest priced riders and the 5 DSs I wanted, and still have plenty in change. Still can’t decide which if any of the first 4 stages the sprinters will be able to compete in though. My guess is Yes, No, Maybe, Maybe.

    Im unsure how serious Boonen
    Im unsure how serious Boonen is with his comments, I was thinking he would be going for the win in stage 1….maybe he is not the correct rider for me team 😕

    TER it seems to be a problem
    TER it seems to be a problem for all the premium races, just checked through and can’t get any riders up for any premium races 😕
