With Cancellara out (I’m sure we all wish him a speedy recovery) who is going to challenge OPQ and Boonen?
I’m keeping Boonen and Pozzato and maybe Sagan if he rides, but the 4th eludes me. Thoughts anyone? Doesn’t have to be the real rider you’re going to pick if you don’t want to give too much away đŸ˜‰ đŸ˜‰ .

The majority of the team
The majority of the team helping Hushovd? I disagree, i think the team will be behind the leader Ballan, he has mainly gone well at roubaix and has formseabass89

I know I am a patriot, but I am actually putting in Hushovd and Boasson Hagen.Hushovd has one, uno, ein goal for the year – to win Paris-Roubaix. I think he will be hanging in there until he breaks down and dies đŸ˜› Bsides he said before the Tour of Flanders that he doesen’t really like that race.
So for roubaix, Hushovd will have the majority of the team to help him, and a couple of free roles (Van Avermaet, maybe?) and I think he will deffo be up there.
Eddy the Boss I think showed that he handles the cobbles pretty well. Was hindered by Vansummeren in that little shunt and used a lot of energy trying to get back. And as the man said himself (with a wink, that is) “I am not saying that I would have won, but I would have doen alot better [if I wasn’t caught in the crash]”
For Sky, they will probably do the same as the Flanders race were EBH is the captain, and Flecha is a free role rider.
But the big, huge, number one favourite must be Boonen.

Id say having a balance will
Id say having a balance will be the key, and all the choices (because it seems credits wont be an issue), should be weighed on there individual merits and not looked at based on priceAlan Tullett

Vanmarcke, Terpstra, Paolini etc.

He can rival Boonen in a sprint and should be strong enough to be there, but my bug question for him is whether BMC can get organised to provide support, or if they’ll all ride for themselves…He should be their main rider but due to illness, I think, he’s just too off-form and these are not races where you can be much under 100%. Ballan is the clear team leader and he came two places above him last year as well.
I agree, I see Hushovd as a punt rather than a guaranteed top 10 finisher, and a rather expensive punt at that. Someone like Degenkolb would be as much of a risk (I predict either a top 5 finish or nowehere to be seen) but is considerably cheaper.

What star rider to bring in
What star rider to bring in for Sagan is the question. I think i know wh, and i think i know my 3 DS changes too, maybe a risky team, but one that could pay offAlan Tullett
4 changes I have to make now;

I think i am the jinx. . . .Maybe I’ll keep Lange and Canc cos I’m feeling discombobulated.
Maybe I’ll pick Benat Inxtausti for the PR . . .
He’ll do no worse than he;s doing in the Basque tour. . .
oops, starting to be bitter again. . .A bit of flu, I mean , a little bit of flu and he pulls out. . . does he not know that I was banking on him for wildcard points. . .
