Carlos Sastre riding Trois Etapes

    Has anyone heard about this event http://www.troisetapes.org/ ?

    An Alpine pro-am, three stage race with Carlos Sastre raising money for charity. Each team will ride with a pro rider and each day will include a mountain Team Time Trial on a ‘HC’ Tour de France climb. Teams will also have a support car and crew, providing professional experience.
    It sounds like a great event to ride. Any thoughts?

    I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not the lack of fitness but rather the £5K sponsorship required that will put most people off.

    Sounds like a great idea, If i had the fitness and stamina, it would be something i’d go for, but a bit beyond my level for the moment

    Will be interesting to see the other Pro’s who are joining in
