Garmin 800

    How do i calibrate the wheel circumference 700x25c into the Garmin 800 or does it set itself using satelites? Ive tired all ways to sort it but cant.The hand book has no mention on the matter.

    Cant use gps indoors on a turbo trainer so ive fitted a cadence/wheel sensor hence my problem

    You need to lay your bike on
    You need to lay your bike on its side when you first turn the unit on each time. This gives the satellites a clear view of your wheels, allowing the unit to calibrate itself for whatever bike you are riding that day. Once the unit has gained a full signal you can pick up the bike and just ride.
