Looking to buy an aero bar for the remains of the TT season. Don’t want to pay more than £50 and they need to fit standard size bars and fit either side of the stem.

Don’t want to ruin my nice bar taping!

I’d get the oval a710’s – I have them with choice of extension, and they’re light and stiff. All I need.

Most of the other aero bars i found were comparatively overweight.

If £50 is your limit i’d
If £50 is your limit i’d suggest a set of carbon profile’s or perhaps the base model ovals but you would need to search ebay for them as for £50 retail the choice is extremely limited. DaveP has got a good line of thought going though…what will you enjoy more for your £50? A piece of shaped aluminium or 100+ chocolate bars?!

I’ve got a set of the Ritchey
I’ve got a set of the Ritchey Prologues on test at the moment and can certainly vouch for them, they’re very comfortable and adjustable. you are looking at 70 notes though, like jon says

Well ebay is always an option
Well ebay is always an option with oval and profile offerings regularly coming up for around about £50 but if you want somthing fresh out of a box then you could do worse than getting a set of ritchey prologues, they are £70ish but offer a much more comfortable position than the bottom of the range profiles in my own, humble opinion.
